United States one-dollar Silver Certificate, printed on the classic small-size currency paper stock with the crisp intaglio engraving typical of mid-century U.S. banknotes. The note carries a blue Treasury seal and blue serial numbers, Q62442905A, and the printed series designation SERIES 1957 A is clearly legible beneath the Treasury seal on the face. George Washington’s portrait sits centered within an ornate oval frame, flanked by the bold “ONE” numerals and decorative scrollwork bordering the note.

The face bears the printed signatures of Elizabeth Rudel Smith, Treasurer of the United States, and C. Douglas Dillon, Secretary of the Treasury, along with the standard legal tender clause stating the certificate is redeemable for silver on demand. The reverse is printed in green ink and features the traditional Great Seal of the United States on the right, the pyramid and all-seeing eye design with “ANNUIT COEPTIS” and “NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM” on the left, and “IN GOD WE TRUST” centered above the large “ONE.”
