Dating to the 1934-C series, this $20 Federal Reserve Note carries the green Treasury seal and the portrait of Andrew Jackson at center, framed by the ornate engraved border typical of large-format federal currency from this era. Issued through the New York district (Federal Reserve Bank seal marked “B”), the note is legal tender as printed along the top border and remains a classic example of mid-20th-century U.S. paper money design.
The face bears the printed signatures of W.A. Julian, Treasurer of the United States, and John W. Snyder, Secretary of the Treasury, along with the matching green serial number B41530400B appearing in both the upper right and lower left corners. The reverse features the traditional engraved view of the White House with its surrounding lawn and trees, flanked by decorative numeral medallions and the denomination spelled out in banner text.
The note shows a firm center fold running its full length along with some corner softening and light overall toning consistent with genuine circulation. A small separation is visible along the top edge of the reverse near the center fold, and there is minor surface soiling scattered across both sides. No tears extend into the printed design, and the paper retains good body and legible detail throughout.
