Description
Black lacquered display frame houses a color photograph of five members of a well-known British rock band posed outside the Alamo in San Antonio, each in period flared jeans, patterned shirts and scarves, with one figure draped in a Union Jack and another waving a Texas state flag. Below the photo sits a small model electric guitar mounted in its own shaped mat opening, alongside a black-matted panel bearing five silver-ink signatures labeled Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Bill Wyman, Ron Wood, and Charlie Watts. Signature/marking present as shown; attribution not verified. Inquire for details. Item includes accompanying documentation; documentation has not been verified by a recognized authentication body and should not be relied upon as proof of authorship.
The multi-opening mat and frame form a shadow-box style collector’s display, measuring roughly 12 by 16 inches per the accompanying paperwork, which is issued by Princess Fine Arts and describes the piece as a photo showcase collectible rather than a numbered or limited edition. The reverse of the frame carries a retailer’s address label and a numbered inventory sticker, along with wire hanging hardware and a kraft paper dust cover.
The photograph and signature mat show light overall toning and a few scattered spots of foxing consistent with age, and the frame’s top edge has a small chip in the black lacquer finish. The backing paper is intact apart from minor surface soiling, and the guitar model and signature panel remain securely seated in their mat openings.
