The round case houses a deep black dial with no numerals or indices, just a solitary gold dot standing in for the twelve o’clock marker, paired with dauphine-style gold hands for hours and minutes. The watch is finished with a matching gold-tone bracelet in a brick-link pattern that continues the case’s polished, understated look.
The dial is signed “SWISS MOVADO MADE” along the lower edge, and the case back carries the full manufacturer stamp: “MOVADO, SWISS MADE, STAINLESS STEEL, WATER RESISTANT,” along with reference and serial numbers 88 G2 1898 9565341. The case is gold-plated over a stainless steel base, and the bracelet’s fold-over deployant clasp is marked “MOVADO” and “STAINLESS STEEL,” revealing the steel substructure on the underside of the links. A gold-tone crown sits at the three o’clock position on the case edge.
The watch shows light surface wear consistent with age and prior use, including fine scratching along the bezel and case back and minor brassing at the high-contact edges of the gold-tone finish.
