Full pane of twenty 37-cent USPS commemorative stamps honoring Cary Grant, part of the Legends of Hollywood series issued in 2002. Each stamp carries a color portrait of Grant in black tie, with a companion black-and-white panel alongside the pane featuring a still from North by Northwest and a short biography of the actor’s career, including his special Academy Award in 1970.
The sheet is printed on USPS stamp stock with plate position markings and the standard selvage text along the border, noting the North by Northwest image copyright (Turner Entertainment Co., an AOL Time Warner Company) and the 2002 USPS copyright line. Total face value of the pane is $7.40 (20 stamps at 37 cents each), and a printed barcode and numbering appear on the reverse selvage.
The pane is in clean, unused condition with all twenty stamps intact and no separations. The reverse shows light show-through of the printed design and two barcode strips, consistent with an unused sheet stored flat; no creasing, staining, or adhesive disturbance is visible.
