Description
Hand-blown art glass bowl in a vivid coral-orange hue, worked in the round with a flared rim and a small pulled tab handle projecting from one side. The glass is heavily seeded with controlled bubbles throughout the body, giving the piece a dense, textured glow when lit from behind, and the bowl sits on a slightly domed, polished pontil base.
Decorative canes and filigrana threads run through the walls in white, pale blue, pink, and touches of yellow, including delicate lace-like mesh sections and twisted ribbon canes embedded beneath the surface — classic Italian glassworking techniques used to build up pattern within molten glass. No maker’s mark, label, or signature is visible on the piece.
The bowl is in good vintage condition overall, with light surface scratching consistent with age and handling, most visible on the underside. No chips or cracks are apparent, and the applied rim handle is intact.
