Description
Chameleon-effect paint is the first thing that catches the eye here – this 1:24-scale diecast stock car shifts between purple, green, and blue tones depending on the light, a signature look for Action’s Elite line of NASCAR collectibles. It’s built as Jeff Gordon’s #24 DuPont Chevrolet Monte Carlo, dressed up in a Looney Tunes promotional scheme with Bugs Bunny featured prominently on the hood and Elmer Fudd worked into the rear quarter panel graphics. The hood lifts to reveal a detailed engine bay with chrome-finished block, headers, and radiator support, and the model rides on Goodyear Eagle racing tires with black wheels.
Sponsor decals cover the body in period-correct detail, including DuPont, Pepsi, Quaker State, GMAC, Fritos, Tyvek, Corian, 3M, Gatorade, Bud, Holley, COMP Cams, Spicer, MAC Tools, and a full row of NASCAR Winston Cup contingency sponsors along the rocker panels. The car carries a NASCAR 50th Anniversary (1948-1998) emblem and is presented in its original Action Elite packaging – a black display case with a clear lid, gold foil Elite branding, and matching 50th Anniversary artwork on the outer black box marked “Hand Crafted in China” and “Officially Licensed Product.”
The diecast body and decals are clean and well preserved, with no chips, cracks, or fading noted on the paint or graphics. The outer cardboard box shows shelf wear typical of age, including corner rubbing, edge creasing, and light surface scuffing on the black finish, while the inner display case and car inside remain in solid, presentable condition.
