Full pane of USPS Forever stamps celebrating Batman’s 75th anniversary, issued in 2014. The sheet holds sixteen stamps arranged in four rows, each row depicting the Caped Crusader as he appeared during a different era of comic book history: Modern Age, Bronze Age, Silver Age, and Golden Age, moving from top to bottom. A vertical panel on the left carries a stylized Gotham City skyline in black, gray, and gold tones with the BATMAN logo running down the side, alongside four circular Bat-Signal stamps showing the emblem’s evolution over the decades.
The reverse of the sheet includes USPS branding and a printed history of the character, tracing Batman’s creation by Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger back to Detective Comics #27 in 1939, along with commentary on the character’s four comic-book eras represented in the artwork. Batman and all related elements are copyright and trademark DC Comics, per the printed credit line. A plate position diagram and USPS barcode with the number 588400 also appear on the back, confirming this as an official postal issue rather than a reprint or fan-made item.
The sheet remains in clean, uncirculated condition with sharp printing and vivid color across all sixteen stamps and the four Bat-Signal designs. Light scattered spotting is visible along the top edge of the reverse side, consistent with age or storage, but the stamps themselves and the front artwork show no creasing, tearing, or significant handling wear.
