Carved from solid dark stone, this bust sculpture depicts a bearded male figure with strongly defined facial features — deep-set eyes, a broad nose, pronounced lips, and horizontal forehead lines — set atop a squared, pedestal-like torso. The hair and beard are worked in a contrasting pale, granular-textured stone, creating a striking two-tone effect against the smooth, dark polished surface of the face and shoulders.
