The coin face displays the Mexican eagle perched on a serpent-entwined cactus with “ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS” encircling the design, while the reverse bears the denomination “DOS PESOS” and the 1945 date within a laurel wreath. The coin is bezel-set into a wide, rounded polished band, giving the piece real heft and presence on the hand.
