United States ten-dollar Silver Certificate, Series of 1934 C, featuring the engraved portrait of Alexander Hamilton at center within an oval frame. The blue Treasury seal and blue serial numbers (B27977871A) are printed on a black-and-white intaglio design, with the note certifying deposit of silver in the U.S. Treasury payable to the bearer on demand, as stated in the printed legend along the lower border.
The face carries the printed signatures of the Treasurer of the United States and the Secretary of the Treasury, along with the Washington, D.C. imprint and district identifiers I and I216 flanking the portrait. The reverse is printed in green ink and depicts the U.S. Treasury Building in Washington, D.C., framed by ornate scrollwork and bordered by “TEN” denomination markers in each corner.
The note shows honest circulation wear consistent with its age, including multiple horizontal and vertical fold lines, soft and slightly worn corners, and light overall toning to the paper. A small separation is visible along the lower edge, and the surface shows minor creasing throughout without any tears extending into the printed design.
