Description
Cluster ring built on a heavily textured, bark-like gold-tone shank that flares upward into a dome-shaped face. Six round, clear faceted stones are set in individual prong mounts and arranged in a symmetrical cluster around raised, organic textured accents that resemble small leaves and nuggets of gold, giving the top of the ring a rugged, sculptural surface.
The shank carries a deep vertical bark or wood-grain texture that continues from the shoulders down to the band, contrasting with the polished, sharp-edged nugget accents on top. The underside of the setting is open-worked, showing the backs of the prong settings and the cast texture of the mounting. No maker’s mark or purity stamp is legible in the photographs.
The piece shows light surface scratching on the polished shank consistent with wear, along with darkened, oxidized patina settled into the deep recesses of the textured surface. The prongs holding the stones appear intact and secure, and the stones themselves show no visible chips or damage.
