Series 1957 United States one-dollar Silver Certificate, featuring the portrait of George Washington on the obverse and the Great Seal of the United States paired with the pyramid and all-seeing eye on the reverse. The blue Treasury seal and blue serial numbers identify it as a Silver Certificate, once redeemable for silver dollars on demand, a note type long retired from circulation and now collected for its history and design.
The note carries serial number L50093673A, with the printed signatures of Treasurer Ivy Baker Priest and Secretary of the Treasury Robert B. Anderson, both standard for the Series 1957 issue.
